I.S. for an Organization

An objective of an IS is to acquire a more accurate information anywhere, anytime, when needed by people who works for an organization. --we've been asked what this was for about 3/4 of the class during that meeting. We are so much blinded with the obvious.

There are 4 reasons why IS will be developed for an organization and we discussed each of them. We talked about the problems that would lead an organization to develop or improve their IS. And if i tackle each one, my post would be a lecture. So anyway, there are many reasons such as competition, reduction of research consumption, distribution, financial control (which is the number1 problem of an organization, by the way) and many others. I found out that the role of our future profession is to solve these problems or if not solve entirely, but to lessen these problems for the benefit of the organization. Our profession is totally in-demand since almost every minute a type of technology develops and every business on Earth must comply to this development to keep up with their socio-economic status. Hm, sort of a big profession ain't it? You will be the one to solve a company's problem.
