Electronic Voting Machine Case

DRE or OMR?? the decision was very frustrating, actually, there was no decision yet but thinking about it was very very frustrating. Frustrating in the sense that, after deciding that you will use this machine, you find a flaw in it which the other machine has a solution to. But if you would ask me, i would choose OMR. At first, seeing a touch screen computer made me think to myself, "wow! astig 'to! eto nalang!" and then when the film about OMR was shown, i was like, "yun lang? parang scanner lang e!" But after that thought, i automatically changed my mind. I've experienced voting (SK) and waiting in line sucks and the place smells bad, what do expect right?, and i saw in the movie that only one person can enter the room at a time. After seeing that, i was for OMR all the way. This may sound mean but for me it's okay if it isnt that accurate, were corrupted in the first place anyway. But if the ballot would be automatically placed in the scanner and the voter will wait for an error, then maybe accuracy would not be that of a problem. For me, OMR all the way! Specially with the hygienic problem if we will use DRE, i dont think i could stand that. Not knowing what the other's hand touched and you will be touching the same suface as he or she did, that would be disgusting.
