Input and Output devices always go together

input and output devices is like sugar and coffee, socks and shoes, chicken and gravy. one can stand alone (output) while the other cannot (input). This is such since an input is an intangible thing that could only be proved to exist if there is an output. The output is like the evidence of an input.
the output could also be a presentation of the set of choice of data or a set of instructions on how the input will be done or executed. the input on the other hand, is the one that captures data.
