imagine carrying an envelope-sized thingy just for your .txt files. hahaha. so sad. but thankfully, technology is constantly evolving. from these gigantic floppy disk to half an inch usbs which by the way, carries quadruple the capacity of the previous one. the meeting that week was very informative. about the Y2K problem, i never thought it really existed. i mean, i was only young back then so honestly, i didnt really cared. but thinking that there will no longer be enrolment in schools and all records will be erased. i never thought that y2k is a very serious problem. :(
anyway, moving on, this is the first time i knew that our internet connection was from taiwan. the Philippines is soo poor talaga. (said in a very konyo way! hahahaha :)) ) but DLSU is soo cool ever! (konyo parin :D ), i mean, having our own sattelite, ang using fiber optic wires. so amazing! sir oli even used my hair strand just for everyone to see how thin this wire is. And sir oli also discussed how important the gox building is. how power in gox cannot lose! hahahahaha! our planet gox is so important. the future of our university depends on it. :D
there are so many new and interesting and exciting things i learn in this course. (naks!)
